Partner Side Events

Throughout WD2023, a series of side events will be hosted by WD2023 partners and sponsors. Organizing a partner side event is a fantastic way to engage with Conference participants, share knowledge and evidence, conduct a workshop, host a reception, and more!

Women Deliver has reached capacity for side events submissions. Applicants can still submit their side event, but they will be added to a waitlist. Partner side events may be held at the Kigali Convention Center or nearby hotels. Women Deliver will notify applicants who are not on the waitlist within 90 days of their submission if their application has been accepted, and will provide confirmation of the date, time, and location of the proposed side event. Women Deliver will reach out to waitlisted applicants if space opens up based on the order in which they applied. Due to limited capacity, applicants are encouraged to list their top three desired dates and times within their application. Women Deliver will do its best to accommodate these preferences.

Please note that all Side Events will be allotted 90 minutes.

Side event packages include*:

  • Built-in sound or speakers on the stand
  • Two hand microphones
  • One gooseneck or microphone on a stand for the rostrum
  • Adequate screen and projector for rom size
  • Laptop and clicker
  • Stage (depending on room size)

*Catering packages and extra AV equipment are available at additional cost to the organizer.
