The Women Deliver 2023 Conference (WD2023) hosted participants both on-site in Kigali and virtually, from 17-20 July 2023. Official WD2023 Pre-Conferences will begin on 16 July 2023.

The Women Deliver 2023 (WD2023) in-person Conference is at capacity and registration is now closed. You can add your name to our waitlist below, and we will notify you if space opens on a first-come-first-served basis.

Due to security screenings, swapping or changing the name on your registration is no longer possible.

In-person*

  • Access to the full Conference program, including Pre-Conferences, the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, plenary sessions, Concurrent sessions, side events, exhibition hall, Youth Zone, Culture Night, Closing Ceremony, and more

*If you are a person with a disability who requires a companion to travel and attend the Conference with you, registration for one companion is complementary. Women Deliver will reach out to register your companion.

Accommodation requests

Women Deliver is committed to hosting an inclusive and accessible convening so that all individuals, including persons with disabilities, can fully participate in WD2023. To request an accommodation, or if you have questions about accessibility, please contact wd2023@womendeliver.org.

COVID-19 policy

Women Deliver is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic globally to ensure the health and safety of all participants. All on-site participants will be expected to follow the safety protocols set forth by the Government of Rwanda. Women Deliver will share more information on these protocols closer to the Conference date.

Language

Plenary and concurrent sessions, in both physical and digital spaces, will have simultaneous interpretation in English, French, Spanish. International Sign Language will be available in all plenary sessions and select concurrent sessions. Learn more about WD2023’s accessibility measures here.

Ticket fees

To enable broad participation at WD2023, we have implemented a tiered fee structure with lower registration fees for youth participants and participants from low- and middle- income countries based on World Bank Country Classifications. Click here to find your country’s classification.

Flight and Hotel Booking

WD2023 delegates will have access to exclusive discounts for hotel booking and air travel. Please visit this link to see the full list of hotels and check availability.

SATGURU will:

  • Advise on the best routing and offer the best prices.
  • Issue and deliver tickets within a maximum of thirty (30) minutes after receiving confirmation and payment, taking into account the traveler’s specifications — such as frequent flyer programs.
  • Advise passengers, on all details needed about their itineraries (e.g., requirements for visa, health, immigration, foreign exchange, restrictions, and latest updates about airports and flights), a printable routing including all the airlines used.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for those who would otherwise be unable to participate in the Conference. Applications for on-site and virtual scholarships were open from 19 July 2022 – 1 October 2022.

Registration policies

  • By registering for WD2023, you agree to adhere to the Conference Code of Conduct.
  • All tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend WD2023, you may transfer your ticket to another party. Please email wd2023@womendeliver.org if you need to transfer your ticket.
  • To ensure the safety and wellbeing of adolescents at WD2023, all registrants attending WD2023 in-person who are under the age of 18 at the time of the Conference are required to travel and attend the Conference with a guardian, who must also register for the Conference.
  • Children under the age of 12 may attend the Conference free of charge if they are accompanying a parent or guardian registered to attend the Conference. Women Deliver will provide more information on local childcare options closer to the Conference date. Please email wd2023@womendeliver.org if you will be attending WD2023 with a child under the age of 12.
  • Single-day registration is not available for in-person or virtual participation.
  • On-site registration will not be available. All delegates must register in advance through the online portal.

In-person registration will be open on a rolling basis until capacity is reached. Once we have reached capacity, a waitlist will be initiated.
