Key Features of the WD2023 Virtual Conference:

• The opening and closing ceremonies of WD2023 will be live-streamed from the on-site conference in Kigali, Rwanda.
• 50 events will be hosted exclusively on the WD2023 Virtual Conference Platform. These sessions have been organized and co-created by local grassroots and national organizations, international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), the private sector, and governments from 100+ countries.
• WD2023 Virtual Conference sessions will cover the most pertinent topics on advancing gender equality, building solidarity, and sharing solutions.
• Virtual Conference delegates will be able to enjoy screenings of select films featured at the WD2023 Arts & Film festival.
• Virtual Conference delegates can use WD2023’s virtual platform to network by creating a profile and listing interests. Virtual Conference delegates will then be matched with other attendees with similar interests, able to chat with any attendee, and able to organize topic-driven group discussions using the platform’s chat function.
• All WD2023 delegates will be able to access all session recordings on the WD203 virtual platform during and after the Conference.
